Your desert tour from Marrakech to Fes will begin at 8:00 AM from your hotel or riad. The adventure starts with a thrilling drive across the High Atlas Mountains. Passing via the amazing Tizi N’Tichka pass, which rises to an amazing 2,260 meters above sea level. You will be enthralled with the stunning scenery as you travel along this picturesque route. Which features quaint Berber settlements made of mud bricks tucked away among verdant plateaus with snow-capped peaks framing the horizon. There will be other pauses along the way where you can take interesting pictures, get a little exercise, and enjoy a cup of cool coffee.
We will arrive to the UNESCO World Heritage village of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou about midday. This village is well known for its stunning architecture and for providing the setting for many popular Hollywood films, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and Lawrence of Arabia. Discover the complex design and rich history of this amazing mud-brick village with a guided visit. Furthermore, we drive to Ouarzazate, which is sometimes called the Hollywood of Africa because it houses the biggest movie studios on the continent.
After a relaxing lunch, we travel through the Valley of the Roses to reach Kalaa Mgouna, which is well-known for producing beautiful roses. At last, you will arrive at your quaint Riad in Boumalne Dades, where you will savor a delicious dinner and spend the evening taking in the valley’s breathtaking scenery.

Free time for lunch near the spectacular gorge then set off to Merzouga Desert. The location where your camel caravan is waiting for you. Take a memorable camel ride across the fascinating Erg Chebbi dunes to see the magnificent dusk falling over the wide desert. As dusk draws near, you will enjoy dinner al fresco while listening to your hosts, who are nomadic locals. Serenade you with drumming in a hypnotic manner. You will spend this unforgettable evening at your camp in the Sahara Desert.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fez

Wake up early in the morning to witness the captivating sunrise in the desert. After enjoying a leisurely breakfast. We will then bid farewell to the desert and make our way to the town of Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani continues to thrive as a prominent trading center in the region. Boasting a bustling souk that comes alive on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. After exploring the lively souk of Rissani, we will proceed to Erfoud, where we will visit one of the workshops showcasing fossilized marble.
Following the visit to Erfoud, we will drive alongside the scenic Ziz River, making a stop to admire the panoramic view of the stunning Ziz Valley. You will have some free time to enjoy lunch in Midelt. Continuing our journey, we will arrive at the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbary Macaques. Feel free to interact with and feed these fascinating creatures as you explore the forest. Next, we will visit Ifrane, renowned for its cool temperatures, snowfall, and charming alpine-style houses. It’s no wonder that Ifrane is often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we will drop you off at the airport or your accommodation in Fes, marking the end of your 3 Days Marrakech Desert tour.
